What it is.
You give it the page type, the one action you want, your objections and any customer language you have. It writes the copy against six style rules and a short list of words it refuses: streamline, optimize, innovative.
The refusal list is what makes the output yours instead of interchangeable. It also converts vague claims into specific ones, so save time on your workflow becomes cut your weekly reporting from 4 hours to 15 minutes.
What you get.
- Copy for one page at a time, with the primary action named before writing starts
- Six style rules applied consistently, from simple over complex to honest over sensational
- A refusal list covering the buzzwords that make software copy interchangeable
- An above-the-fold structure framework for headline, subhead and proof
- A quality check pass for jargon, passive voice and exclamation points
How to set it up.
Install with npx skills add coreyhaines31/marketingskills --skill copywriting, adding -a claude-code so Claude Code can read it.
Run product-marketing first. This skill reads .agents/product-marketing.md and skips the questions already answered there.
Name one primary action for the page. The skill builds the structure around a single conversion goal, so two goals produce weaker copy.
Paste the customer language you have: reviews, interview notes, support tickets. Mirroring their words is one of the stated rules, and it needs source material.
State the objections you already hear on sales calls, because the page structure allocates space to answering them.
Run the copy-editing skill afterwards for the line-by-line pass. This skill writes, that one edits.

Use cases
Homepage rewrite from review quotes
The homepage lists features and a folder of customer reviews sits unused. Paste the reviews in, name the one action the page exists for, and it writes the above-the-fold structure while mirroring your customers' own phrasing back at them.
Sharpening a vague hero claim
The hero says the product saves time and nobody believes it. Give it the current copy plus the evidence behind the claim, and the vague-to-specific pass returns concrete versions that survive a review.
Landing page for one campaign
You need a page for a single offer before the campaign goes live. Name the primary action and state the objections you hear on sales calls, and the copy comes back built around one conversion goal with space allocated to answering each objection.
Best for
A homepage rewrite with no agency budget
You get structure, a stated position on clarity, and the questions a copywriter would ask in a kickoff call.
Turning review quotes into page copy
The customer-language rule is built for this, and the output improves in proportion to the voice-of-customer material you feed it.
Getting a founder off feature lists
The vague-to-specific pairs give you a shared standard to argue from instead of a matter of taste.
