What it is.
Avkash Kakdiya's template pulls the previous day's campaign data from Meta Ads and Google Ads, lines up the metric names so the two can be compared, then checks click-through rate and ROAS against benchmarks held in a Code node.
Campaigns that fall short get flagged and pushed through WhatsApp, Slack, and Gmail in the same run, with a row written to Google Sheets so the history survives. The benchmarks are plain values you edit, so you set what counts as a drop.
What you get.
- Yesterday's campaign rows from Meta Ads and Google Ads in one table.
- Click-through rate and ROAS computed per campaign against thresholds you choose.
- Alerts on WhatsApp, Slack, and Gmail from a single run.
- A dated Google Sheets log of every flagged campaign.
How to set it up.
Add credentials for the Google Ads API and the Meta Graph API; both need a token or app before the first run.
Open the Code node and replace the benchmark click-through rate and ROAS values with your own account averages.
Point the Google Sheets node at a sheet you own and keep the column headers the template expects.
Pick your alert channels, and delete the WhatsApp or Gmail branch if you only want Slack.
Set the Schedule Trigger to run after both platforms have finished reporting the previous day.
Run it against a week you already understand, so you can tell a true drop from a reporting lag.
Use cases
Both platforms in one table
Pull yesterday's campaigns from Meta and Google into a single view.
Flag only the underperformers
Compare each campaign against its own recent average and surface what fell.
Morning triage list
Open one alert instead of two dashboards before deciding where to pause.
Best for
Running paid on two platforms
Two dashboards means two habits to keep. One alert covers both.
Creative fatigue
A click-through drop on a scaled ad set is the earliest signal that the creative is spent.
Holiday cover
The alerts land in Slack, so covering someone's week needs no extra process.
