PPC Skill Set

What it is.

Ours, and we sell the service it runs inside. Four skills sit on one Google Ads connector: keyword research to a spreadsheet split by campaign and match type, a negative keyword audit carrying wasted spend estimates, landing page match scoring, and section-by-section conversion audits with test hypotheses attached.

One connector serving four skills is what makes a monthly pass across ten accounts realistic. Our own read is that the negative keyword auditor alone justifies the connector work, because wasted spend regenerates every month whether anyone is watching or not.

What you get.

  • Keyword research output split by campaign and match type
  • A negative keyword audit carrying wasted spend estimates
  • Landing page match scoring against the ad that sends the click
  • Section-by-section conversion audits with test hypotheses
  • All four running against one connector, so there is no export step
HOW TO USE IT

How to set it up.

1

Connect the ads account once and build every paid skill against that connection. Four separate export routines is the version that stops getting run.

2

Structure the keyword output by campaign and match type, because that is the shape the platform accepts back.

3

Attach a wasted spend estimate to every negative keyword recommendation, so the approval conversation has a number in it.

4

Score the landing page against the ad that sends traffic to it, not against a general standard.

5

Break conversion audits into sections and attach a test hypothesis per section, so the output is a test backlog.

6

Start with the negative keyword auditor if you are building one of these first. It is where the return shows up soonest.

Pricing Plans

Not sold as a skill.

It runs inside client engagements and needs Google Ads API access. The published account dates from April 2026.

Use cases

A monthly multi-account pass

An agency runs a stack of ad accounts and exports were the bottleneck. Connect each account once and all four skills run against that connector, so the monthly pass happens without an export routine.

Negatives with numbers attached

Negative keyword recommendations keep stalling in approval. This audit attaches a wasted-spend estimate to every recommendation, so the client conversation starts with a figure.

Ad-to-page match check

Clicks convert worse than the ad quality suggests. The match scorer grades each landing page against the specific ad sending it traffic, a check most accounts never run.

A test backlog fast

The landing page needs conversion work and nobody knows where to start. The audit works section by section with a test hypothesis attached to each, so what comes back is a backlog, and every line is testable.

Best for

Agencies running several ad accounts

One connector serving four skills is what makes a monthly pass across ten accounts realistic.

Recovering spend nobody is watching

Wasted spend regenerates monthly, and an audit with estimates attached gets approved faster.

Ads that send clicks to a mismatched page

Page match scoring against the specific ad is a check most accounts never run.

Strengths
  • Four skills on one connector, which is the design choice that keeps them in use.
  • Wasted spend estimates arrive with the recommendation, so approval is a decision and not a debate.
  • Conversion audits produce test hypotheses, which turns an audit into a backlog.
Limitations
  • Ours, and we sell the service around it.
  • Built in Slate's visual builder, so there is no repo and nothing to install.
  • It needs Google Ads API access, which means a developer token and an approval wait.
  • The published account is from April 2026 and our own version has moved since.
